I have been very interested in the creative possibilities made possible by combining new digital technologies with vintage non-silver processes.

In 2007 I began a new body of work in both traditional copperplate and polymer photogravure. I also create and photograph the sculptural elements that appear in the digitally composed images; something new for me.

The gravure plates are exposed from digital positive films made with an Epson printer, and then inked and printed onto a Rives BFK base with a chin-collé layer of Rives Heavy-Weight using an etching press.
